Vortex Diamondback HD
Skippersmate always have some of the best prices. This is the 3rd Vortex optics I have purchased through them. Always outstanding service and delivered to my door within only a couple of days. The Diamondback HD 16-48x65 is superb spotting scope with outstanding glass clarity. For the price you will be hard pressed find anything better than this. Only negative is the difficulty in obtaining a crisp in focus picture at full magnification at long distances. I feel as though i never get it focused quite as much as I’d like when observing objects around 1000m away. I believe this is due to the focus wheel being fairly stiff to adjust, leading to the scope moving around at full magnification and not being able to make fine adjustments with a still picture. Over time this may become less stiff with use I’m hoping. Aside from that it is an excellent product and serves my needs perfectly whilst at the range spotting my shots on target.
