    First monocular I have owned. As such I have no basis for comparison. However I like the product. It's small and lightweight. Fits in my hand really well. Quite discrete. The intended purpose was to be a small optic I could carry everyday in my bag. In the small time I've had this optic it has been used for getting a closer look of Perth City from Kings Park, looking across the street to read the opening hours of a shop and to check the markings of a passing helicopter. Prior to my purchase I did some research. Some were complaining about a stiff focus ring. Either this is a new production product or I simply find it to be of an acceptable resistance. The lanyard and case are a nice. Have dropped the optic while in its case, no damage.

    Stiff focus wheel

    My only complaint is that the focus wheel is very stiff to turn. Does anyone know how to loosen it up? I have turned it back and forth hundreds of times and it has not loosened with use.
